The Great Depression
The great depression started in 1929, mainly becouse people stopped believe in the economic future. The day the great depression started, is called ''black tuesday'' that is when the''wall street crash'' went down. Along whit it, came lot's of poverty and unemployment, people were starving and lost there houses. The great depression lasted about a decade.
In 1932, Herbert Hoover lost the president election to Franklin Delano Roosvelt. Franklin had a great recovery plan called ''The New Deal''
The new deal included, high relief programs that suported the labor unions, and focused to aid the agricultural industri.
The recovery plan worked, and in 1936, the employment numbers were high as ever.
Franklin's victory, ment a big deal to the American people.

Of Mice and Men
The story Of Mice and Men, is about George and Lennie. Two friends who is travelling together, their dream is to get enough money to buy a farm. They travel from farm to farm and gets kicked out becouse of lennie, he is mentaly handikaped.
Lennie is the main roll of the play, becouse of his handikap he does bad things, but dosen't realy mean what he does, he just wants to cuddle, but the thing about Lennie is that he's wery strong and big, so he ends up cuddling way to hard. George is not allways there to stop Lennie from cuddling. They almost never get to be on the farms long enough to get a months sallery.
When the story begins, we find George and Lennie running from the people of Weed, once again Lennie ha's tried to cuddle, so they get another jobb on their way to California.
When they arive, they are 2-3 hours late, and the land lord get's wery angry. They get to know the people working there wery fast, Lennie get's a puppy from a guy named Slim, Lennie kills the puppy when they played ''puppy bite Lennie, Lennie hit puppy''. Lennie tries to hide the puppy in an barn, when he is hiding the dead puppe, Curley's wife comes, Curley is the land lords son. Lennie ends up killing Curley's wife wile cuddling, so he runns up to the river, waiting for George, the people at the farm finds the body and finds out Lennie killed her. They get their guns and starts hunting Lennie down, Geroge knows were Lennie is and finds him, George knows there is no way out for Lennie, so e tells a story, he gets his gun and shoots Lennie in the head. End of the story, George wants Lennie to die happy, instead of getting hunted down like an animal.

Tobacco - Snus
Snus is not well known, outside the nordic area. In Bulgaria, you can be stopped at the airport, becouse the gards think your snus is marihuana. As i said, the population besides norway, finland, sweden and denmark, dont realy know about snus. in the European Union, snus is actually illegal.
Snus is becomming more and more popular in the US. The politicians are talking about using snus as a smoke quitter, USA wants to be smoke free. As in bulgaria, snus is not well known, the closest you get to a popular ''snus'' is a brand calld ''Redman'' wich is dipping tobacco. Dipping tobacco is not realy Snus, but pritty simular to snus, you chew dipping tobacco.
General, is the most popular brand of snus. They make allot of different snus (loos snus, bagged snus, extra strong bagged snus, and so on. Swedish match is the brand that makes allmost all the snus in the world.
Snus was first found in India, Napoleon was one of the first from Europe to try snus. He brought it back to France, and it devloped from there. The Queen of France started using snus becouse of stress. As you can see, snus go way back in history.

The american dream (Arnold)
Arnold is a young boy, from Austria. He dreams of being heard, and for people to look up to him.
One night he decides that bodybuilding is the way. He also wants to go to america, the land of opourtunity. He starts to build muscles, and gets big! He wins mr universe after 5 years. The prise is for, the best built man in the world. Later on, he becomes governor of California.
When he was 21, he goes to america, he dont realy speak english, so he takes classes. He also studied real estate there. He owned buildings, land and a few houses.
He gets the prise for mr olympia, six times! that is more than annybody has ever won in bodybuilding. People thought he was big and stupid, but he made up his mind, and won, nobody who is stupid can do that.
Arnold thought California was the dreamplace, it got the beaces, the desert, the butifull wimen and the ocean. he became the governor of California, Arnold is one of the most succsessfull men in the world.

william shakespare
William shakespare was one of the gratest, poet and playwriter of all time. he was born in aprils 1564 and died in aprils 1616, he died 3 days before his birthday.he lived in a time called ''The Renaissance''.
He became famous by writing plays about love and hate.feks ''romeo and juliet'' or ''Hamlet''
these plays, became most popular when the 1900 started.

is the start of a new littrature and art form that came to england about that time when Shakespare lived.
the reason Romeo and Juliet became popular, even long after the time he wrote it, is that he is talking about love and hate.
love and hate is realy those things that sorounds us today, that makes it interesting to read or watch.
love and hate, can allso be somthing for todays young generation.
Romeo andJuliet is an exelent example of a story suited for young people, love and hate is central in this story, and both Romeo and Juliet are very young.

in the beginning of Romeo and Juliet, he was a street kind of guy, that was my exspression.
but in the end of the story/movie, he was strongy in love, so it made him take hasy and very bad dessicions.
he did not change or learn from his mistakes, he just fell in love, he stil had the same hasty act, but love broke him.
Its just the same today. specially in the you generation.

Why is English a world language?
English was first spoken in England. Today there are 350 million people who speak English.
A shoking 1/3 of the world's population has English as its mother tongue. I think it is because England conquerd a lot of countries(feks in Africa and all around Oseania).
the peoples in africa, was forced to become slaves for the English, and move to america, a country columbus has the credit for finding. how did this happen? what happend in australia?
and how is English used today?
When Australia was discoverd, the Englishmen shiped their prisoners and thievs over to Australia, that way they shiped their language over to Australia.
The aborigines who lived there was in time killed by the new Australians, but there is still a few of them living in Australia.
